ABOUT THE GRANTS PROJECT MANAGER
We are currently hiring a grant-funded Grants Project Manager to join the EdFuel team in support of our federal Charter Schools Program Model Design and Dissemination grant. The Manager will oversee the full lifecycle administration of a federally-funded grant, ensuring strong compliance, disciplined execution, and effective partnerships that support project dissemination and scale. This role serves as the operational backbone of the grant—coordinating timelines, deliverables, budgets, and reporting while translating program goals into executable plans. In partnership with the Project Director, the Manager will monitor performance metrics, align grant spending with approved budgets, and ensure all reporting requirements are met accurately and on time. This role is essential to keeping the project compliant with federal requirements, advancing program outcomes, and cultivating partnerships that expand reach and impact.
We are looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive grants management professional with a proven track record of hyperorganized grants management. Our ideal hire is a mission-driven team player who is passionate about social impact. We need someone who gets excited about data—whether it’s reporting, collecting, or analyzing—to make strategic decisions and is comfortable managing a budget at a basic level.
Success in this role will look like:
- Grant Compliance & Reporting: All required reports, documentation, and submissions are accurate, complete, and submitted on time, with no material compliance findings.
- On-Track Delivery: Grant milestones, deliverables, and performance measures are consistently met according to the approved project plan.
- Budget Alignment: Grant expenditures are closely monitored and remain aligned with the approved budget, with variances identified and addressed proactively.
- Operational Clarity: Clear, reliable systems are in place for tracking grant activities, metrics, and timelines, enabling strong internal coordination and decision-making.
Partnership Effectiveness: Key partners meet agreed-upon commitments and contribute meaningfully to project dissemination and scaling goals.
